Sweet sleeping @ HERITAGE DURNSTEIN
It's all relative, but where you stay makes a difference in your experience of a place. And this one nailed it. I loved the character, and warm, homey feel of this flat and frankly...didn't want to leave. Except to ride bikes along the wine trail, of course.
Not only was the flat impeccably put together, but the amenities were also top notch. Laundry, BBQ, wine cellar, (YES I said wine cellar)to name a few. Oh, and not to mention the barrel hot tub and sauna. I know, right?

A trio of apartments smack dab in the middle of fairy-tale-esque Durnstein, bursting with the original Winehouse character.
I siesta'd in Flat #2- (and fell in love with the rustic kitchen table).

What To Do…What To Do
Rent bikes and cruise the wine trail.
Why? Wine, picturesque towns, and gorgeous views. AND WINE.
Tips:
Visit Zottl Winery in Weissenkirchen.
Oh, and order the meat and cheese plates. Both of 'em. You're welcome.
